The thrilling story of the diabolical puppet maker, with lively humorous choreography and an enchanting music, a pure enjoyment for an audience of all ages. The ballet Coppélia ou La Fille aux yeux d'émail was composed by Léo Delibes in 1870. The plot is based on E.T.A. Hoffmann’s tale The Sandman. The premiere in 1870 at the Paris Opera was a triumphant success. Till today, Coppélia belongs to the standard repertoire of classical ballet.
